Who we are
Clewline Ltd. is registered in Ireland. We provide technical advisory services, open source tooling, and the Sovereign Jobs board at clewline.com. For data protection purposes we are the controller. Contact us at hello@clewline.com with any data-related requests.
What we collect and why
Contact form submissions - name, organisation, email, and message. Legal basis: legitimate interests (responding to enquiries). Processed by Formspree. Retained for two years.
Booking data - name and email when you book a discovery call via Motion. Legal basis: contract performance. Processed by Motion. Retained per their policy.
Sovereign Jobs employer accounts - company name, email address, password (hashed). Legal basis: contract performance. Stored in Supabase (EU region). Retained until account deletion.
Job listings - all fields submitted by employers. Legal basis: contract performance. Stored in Supabase. Retained for 90 days after expiry.
Payment records - payment tier, amount, and status only. Card details are processed by Stripe and never reach our systems. Legal basis: contract performance and legal obligation. Retained for seven years.
Email alert subscribers - email address only. Legal basis: consent. Stored in Supabase. Retained until unsubscribe.
Analytics - aggregate page view data via Plausible Analytics. No personal data, no cookies, no cross-site tracking. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
Third-party processors
We use the following services to operate the site. Each processes data only as necessary to deliver the service:
Formspree (form submissions, US) · Supabase (database and authentication, EU) · Stripe (payment processing, US/EU) · Cloudflare (hosting and CDN, global) · Plausible Analytics (analytics, EU) · Motion (scheduling, US)
Where processors are based outside the UK or EEA, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and Irish data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to object to processing; and to portability of data we hold about you. To exercise any right, email hello@clewline.com. We will respond within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie, or the UK ICO at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. Plausible Analytics uses no cookies.

We will update the "Last updated" date above if we make material changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
